After this screen, the game checks the data, and loads it before this screen, the game saves, so you are absolutely safe here.Īlternatively, you may exit the game every time you want to save manipulate, but DO NOT manipulate when in game. If you intend to copy or save manipulate AND have either SOFS of just plain dark souls II running, you will need to be on the start screen before pushing start, either after just booting the game, or quitting from one. in the folder, you will have 'DARKSII0000.sl2' if you have dark souls II, which is your combined save file, and 'DS2SOFS0000.sl2' if you have scholar of the first sin. There will be a folder that is a long serries of numbers, this coresponds to your steam id. There will be a folder here called 'DarkSoulsII', inside said folder there may be a few files, 'GraphicsConfig.xml' if you have dark souls II, and GraphicsConfig_SOFS.xml if you have Scholar Of the First Sin.
This will likely open your appdata/Roaming folder. Windows 8 people, don't be idiotsm you can find it too.
Easiest way to find it is %appdata% in the search bar that appears after you activate your windows button.
